What awaits you/ Job Profile

  • Support BEV thermal system development from requirement definition through production release.
  • Design cooling circuits for battery e-motor inverter onboard charger and DC-DC converter.
  • Perform heat-load coolant-flow pressure-drop and cooling-capacity calculations.
  • Support sizing and selection of pumps valves radiators chillers and heat exchangers.
  • Prepare system schematics component specifications interface documents and engineering reports.
  • Develop packaging and routing of hoses pipes manifolds and cooling-system components.
  • Coordinate with CAD CAE battery e-drive controls testing and supplier teams.
  • Support DFMEA design reviews DVP&R preparation and technical risk-closure activities.
  • Execute component system-rig vehicle durability and environmental validation tests.
  • Support design release prototype builds supplier development PPAP and production launch.

What should you bring along

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Automobile Thermal or related Engineering.
  • 3 to 6 years of automotive thermal-system design or product-development experience.
  • Experience in BEV cooling-system or automotive liquid-cooling component development.
  • Understanding of battery e-drive inverter and charging-component thermal requirements.
  • Hands-on experience in design calculations component selection testing and issue resolution.
  • Ability to manage assigned components design deliverables and validation activities independently.
  • Experience working with suppliers manufacturing quality and vehicle-integration teams.
  • Structured problem-solving capability using 8D 5 Why and root-cause analysis.
  • Good technical documentation communication coordination and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to support supplier visits prototype builds vehicle tests and production trials.

Must have technical skill

  • Knowledge of BEV cooling systems for battery e-drive inverter and charging components.
  • Capability in heat-load estimation heat-balance and cooling-capacity calculations.
  • Experience in coolant-flow pressure-drop and basic hydraulic-network calculations.
  • Knowledge of pump valve radiator chiller heat-exchanger and reservoir selection.
  • Understanding of coolant properties material compatibility corrosion and contamination control.
  • Experience in hose and pipe routing sealing mounting filling bleeding and leak prevention.
  • Knowledge of metals polymers elastomers seals joints and cooling-plate manufacturing.
  • Practical understanding of DFM DFA and DFS for production assembly and serviceability.
  • Experience preparing DFMEA DVP&R specifications test plans and validation reports.
  • Support compliance with BEV requirements affecting battery cooling over-temperature protection thermal propagation and coolant-system integrity.
  • Proficient with CATIA V5/V6 CAD tools for packaging and routing reviews and Teamcentre PLM tool

Good to have Technical skills

  • Exposure to multi-loop cooling circuits and integrated coolant-distribution modules.
  • Knowledge of battery cold plates thermal interface materials and direct-fluid cooling concepts.
  • Understanding of battery pre-conditioning for fast charging and low-temperature operation.
  • Knowledge of thermal controls temperature sensors actuator diagnostics and derating strategies.
  • Experience with GT-SUITE Amesim KULI MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent simulation tools.
  • Exposure to CFD or conjugate heat-transfer analysis for coolant and component performance.
  • Awareness of ISO 26262 interfaces for thermal sensors pumps valves and control functions.
  • Awareness of AIS-038 Rev.2 UN R100 and ISO 6469 requirements relevant to thermal-system design.
