Job Summary
- Install DC and AC cables for solar PV systems.
- Carry out cable laying termination glanding and ferruling.
- Install solar modules string combiner boxes (SCBs) junction boxes and inverter connections.
- Install transformers HT/LT panels switchgear and associated electrical equipment.
- Perform earthing and lightning protection system installation.
- Conduct continuity insulation resistance and polarity tests.
- Support testing and commissioning of inverters transformers and electrical panels.
- Identify and rectify electrical faults during installation and commissioning.
- Knowledge of solar PV electrical systems.
- Experience in cable laying termination and panel wiring.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and single-line diagrams (SLDs).
- Familiarity with electrical testing instruments such as multimeters insulation testers (Megger) and clamp meters.
- Understanding of HT/LT electrical systems and earthing.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong awareness of electrical safety practices.
