Driver Development Engineer

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and validate device drivers using C#/.NET under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support embedded software development and testing on STM32-based microcontroller platforms.
• Assist in testing and debugging hardware and software issues on prototype and production test boards.
• Participate in system-level validation during tester development.
• Execute software and hardware test plans and document test results.
• Support hardware testing debugging and automated calibration activities.
• Perform prototype board verification and basic design validation.
• Use laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes power supplies multimeters power meters and network analyzers for testing and troubleshooting

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) Electrical Engineering (EEE) Instrumentation Engineering Electronics & Instrumentation (E&I) or related disciplines from India premier colleges like IIT NIT BITS.
• 0 to 1 year experience (preferred 2026 graduated batch)

Skills

• Basic knowledge of C#/.NET or object-oriented programming concepts.
• Understanding of embedded systems and microcontrollers.
• Basic programming knowledge in C C or C#.
• Familiarity with electronic circuits and components.
• Basic understanding of communication protocols such as USB I²C SPI or UART.
• Exposure to debugging and testing tools through academic projects or internships is an added advantage.

Working Conditions

• The work mode of Finisar Test Development Department India is Mandatory 5 days at office.
