About the Role

The Director UX Design will lead a high-performing UX team while collaboratively defining and driving experience strategy across Arctic Wolfs XDR platform. This role sits at the intersection of Product Engineering Security Services and AI innovationensuring that user experience is a core driver of product success.
You will be responsible for scaling UX research and design capabilities establishing effective operating models across globally distributed teams and ensuring that design is both deeply customer-centered and aligned to business outcomes. You will also play a key role in advancing how AI is applied across the design and development lifecycle enabling teams to move faster while maintaining quality and coherence.
Responsibilities Include:
Lead UX strategy aligned to product vision customer needs and business goals
Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to influence roadmaps and prioritization
Contribute towards UX success metrics and ensure measurable impact on adoption usability and customer outcomes
Lead and develop a team of UX designers and researchers
Coach and mentor senior research and design ICs and emerging leaders
Foster a high-performance collaborative and outcome-driven culture
Act as a strategic partner to Product Engineering and executive stakeholder
Represent UX in planning cycles strategy discussions and executive reviews
Ensure strong alignment across globally distributed teams (e.g. North America and India)
Drive cohesion across information architecture interaction patterns and design systems
Ensure design excellence and high-quality user outcomes across all touchpoints
Define best practices for designing AI-enhanced user experiences
Lead adoption of AI-enabled workflows including rapid prototyping and design iteration using modern AI tooling (e.g. Claude-based environments)
Establish frameworks for evaluating and improving AI-generated outputs within the design process
Define and scale UX research strategy and operating model
Ensure research insights directly inform product decisions and prioritization
Build research capability across the team (including hybrid designer/researcher roles)
Create scalable practices rituals and governance that enable effective team execution

About You
Qualifications
10 years of experience in UX design with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role
Proven experience leading and scaling UX teams in complex SaaS environments (cybersecurity experience is a plus)
Demonstrated ability to influence product strategy and drive cross-functional alignment
Experience working with globally distributed teams
Skills & Expertise
Deep expertise in user-centered design interaction design and information architecture
Strong understanding of UX research methods and how to operationalize research at scale
Experience designing for complex systems and workflows across web-based platforms
Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles
Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate design workflows and improve outcomes
Strong communication and storytelling skills including executive-level presentations
