Director – Quality Assurance

We are seeking a highly experienced Director Quality Assurance to lead and scale our QA function across embedded systems communication platforms backend services and web/mobile/desktop applications.

This leadership role involves defining QA strategy driving automation excellence and ensuring high-quality product delivery across multiple domains. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise leadership capability and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

• Define and implement end-to-end QA strategy across embedded systems communication systems backend services and applications
  
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop effective test strategies and plans
  
• Review technical designs to ensure complete and robust test coverage
  
• Design and lead scalable test automation frameworks
  
• Drive automation using tools like Selenium and modern testing approaches
  
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitLab CI etc.)
  
• Establish QA processes quality gates and release standards
  
• Oversee product validation testing and certification activities
  
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC/IEEE standards and best practices
  
• Maintain QA documentation frameworks and test reporting
  
• Represent QA in client discussions and external engagements
  

• 12 years of experience in Quality Assurance with strong focus on automation
  
• 8 years of experience in QA leadership roles
  
• Hands-on expertise in Selenium and automation tools
  
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Python JavaScript or Java
  
• Experience in embedded systems and communication systems testing
  
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  
• Experience with Git or SVN version control systems
  
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  
• Strong analytical problem-solving and leadership skills
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
