Director Finance- GSSC

Essential Functions:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the global shared services responsible for processing high-volume standardized finance transactions including order entry accounts payable accounts receivable and master data creation
• Oversee accounting activities operations within India including monthly closing process and statutory compliance
• Engage with the RTR OTC and PTP finance leaders to ensure alignment of shared services with business strategies and needs
• Develop implement and maintain robust internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Work with the RTR OTC and PTP Global Process Owners (GPOs) to drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure standardization implement best practices and enhance efficiency accuracy and scalability
• Collaborate with IT and other functions to design and implement automation to streamline GSSC activities
• Act as the primary point of contact for leadership regarding India GSSC operations providing regular updates and insights
• Stay informed about industry trends and innovations in shared services to ensure the GSSC remains competitive and forward-thinking
• Develop cost-effective service level agreements (SLAs) for GSSC activities
• Establish measure root cause and action targeted KPIs to measure GSSC activities
• Mentor and develop a global shared services team fostering a high-performance culture

• Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of US GAAP IFRS and other relevant financial reporting standards

Minimum education and work experience required:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• Professional accounting qualification required (e.g. CPA ACA)
• 15 years progressive experience working within a multinational fast-paced environment with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position
• experience at senior manager level
• Proficiency in ERP systems
