Job Summary
Job Description
Essential Functions:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the global shared services responsible for processing high-volume standardized finance transactions including order entry accounts payable accounts receivable and master data creation
- Oversee accounting activities operations within India including monthly closing process and statutory compliance
- Engage with the RTR OTC and PTP finance leaders to ensure alignment of shared services with business strategies and needs
- Develop implement and maintain robust internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Work with the RTR OTC and PTP Global Process Owners (GPOs) to drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure standardization implement best practices and enhance efficiency accuracy and scalability
- Collaborate with IT and other functions to design and implement automation to streamline GSSC activities
- Act as the primary point of contact for leadership regarding India GSSC operations providing regular updates and insights
- Stay informed about industry trends and innovations in shared services to ensure the GSSC remains competitive and forward-thinking
- Develop cost-effective service level agreements (SLAs) for GSSC activities
- Establish measure root cause and action targeted KPIs to measure GSSC activities
- Mentor and develop a global shared services team fostering a high-performance culture
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent global leadership abilities with success building a positive team culture and developing talent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English
- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of US GAAP IFRS and other relevant financial reporting standards
- Strong attention to detail to produce consistent high-quality results and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated high ethical standards and commitment to compliance and transparency
- Demonstrated initiative to drive continuous process improvement
- Ability to work productively in a cross-functional team environment with the ability to influence and collaborate with all stakeholders across all levels of the organization
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced dynamic environment and manage multiple prioritie
Minimum education and work experience required:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- Professional accounting qualification required (e.g. CPA ACA)
- 15 years progressive experience working within a multinational fast-paced environment with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position
- experience at senior manager level
- Proficiency in ERP systems
