Job Summary
Deployment Planning & Execution:
Develop deployment plans including scope milestones resource needs and risk mitigation measures
Translate global process design into site-level implementation guidance and adoption plans
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective roll-out
Milestone & Defect Management:
Coordinate the stream's progress against the project plan
Proactively track and report on status risks and blockers
Own the Defect Resolution process for your stream-triaging issues during testing and driving ITS/SI to fix them fast
Monitor legacy initiative progress escalate risks or roadblocks and ensure delivery quality
Stakeholder Communication:
Act as a central point of contact for P2P Direct process topics ensuring consistent communication across teams
Prepare clear and concise materials (presentations process documentation dashboards) to support leadership reviews and
stakeholder updates/presentations
Serve as the "face" of the ERP project for Direct Materials to local implementation groups (Plant Managers Supply Chain Leads)
Translate complex project status updates into clear business language and manage expectations regarding defects and timelines
UAT & Quality Assurance:
Orchestrate the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Direct Materials
You will not just watch; you will validate complex scenarios (e.g. Subcontracting Consignment Quality Inspection integration) in SAP
yourself to ensure system readiness
Training & Readiness Support:
Provide guidance to operational teams on process changes ensuring successful adoption and sustained performance
Support the "Train the Trainer" approach
Ensure Key Users understand the system transactions and help them bridge the gap between their old legacy processes and the new
S/4HANA standard
Operational Performance & Stabilization:
Monitor deployment outcomes KPIs and compliance levels; identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities
Drive issue resolution during deployment and hypercare phases ensuring smooth handover to business as usual teams
Key Performance Indicators
Milestone Adherence: % of workstream deliverables (Design sign-offs Test cycles completed) delivered on schedule.
Defect Closure Rate: Speed and quality of resolving SIT/UAT defects (Target: Zero critical defects at Go-Live).
Stakeholder Confidence: Qualitative feedback from local Stakeholders regarding project communication and support.
Build strong partnerships across Procurement Finance AP IT effectively influencing stakeholders and driving alignment on process
standards.
Experience know-how and skills critical for success
Experience:
8 years in Direct Procurement or Material Management with specific experience in SAP implementation projects (S/4HANA preferred).
You have "done this before" and know where the pitfalls are in a rollout.
Strong understanding of Direct procurement Procure to Pay processes
SAP MM/PP Proficiency: You must be comfortable navigating SAP transactions (e.g. analyzing MRP runs in MD04 checking PO
message outputs)
Testing/Defect Tools: Experience with ALM tools (e.g. Jira VERA ServiceNow) to manage test scripts and defects
Experience using process mapping data analysis and root-cause methodologies
Process Modeling: Ability to read and refine Signavio process maps to ensure they reflect the system reality
Skills:
Structured Communicator: You can turn a list of 50 technical defects into a clear status report for management. Strong
communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels
