Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled DPI Engineer with hands-on experience in Deep Packet Inspection C programming packet processing and networking. The role involves developing and enhancing DPI features for 4G/5G network elements analyzing application traffic improving flow detection and resolving software defects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) features for 4G/5G network systems.
• Analyze network/application traffic and develop signatures for new or undetected application flows.
• Research and implement pattern-matching behavioral and heuristic approaches for flow detection.
• Analyze and improve DPI engine performance and detection accuracy.
• Develop tools and automation for DPI testing and traffic simulation.
• Analyze requirements design implement and test new features.
• Troubleshoot and fix field-reported SIT and SVT issues.
• Perform packet-level debugging and traffic analysis using PCAP/Wireshark.

Mandatory Skills:

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on DPI experience.
• Strong C programming skills.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP and networking concepts.
• Strong Data Structures & Algorithms knowledge.
• Good understanding of Linux/Operating System concepts.
• Knowledge of x86 architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Wireshark and PCAP.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

• Python or other scripting languages.
• DPI automation/testing.
• Pattern matching and behavioral/heuristic flow detection.
• Encrypted-flow detection.
• Reverse engineering of application/network traffic.
• Experience with hardware/software-based DPI engines.
• DPDK or high-performance packet processing experience.

Education:
BE/ in CS/ECE/EEE
