About the Role

We need a hands-on DevOps Engineer to support the Frontier AI project by building reusable security pipeline capability and improving visibility of pipeline health and delivery performance.

The primary purpose is to build a Checkmarx One pipeline template capability for both GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps (ADO) YAML and continue building on existing pipeline observability. The role requires solution engineering skills in C# and React supported by TypeScript to extend the integrations data processing and user-facing views needed for that observability work.

Proven experience building pipeline templates and workflows as reusable components and publishing them as versioned templates is essential. The focus is on shared capability that multiple repositories and squads can consume and upgrade not only on authoring individual application pipelines.

This is a delivery-focused engineering role not solely pipeline administration or dashboard configuration. You will work with Frontier AI engineers the DevOps Guild Security and engineers responsible for the existing observability solution to deliver working integrations prove them in project pipelines and make them reusable by other squads.

  2. Implement consistent security-gate behaviour agreed with Security including clear handling of scan failures and approved exceptions.
  3. Continue building pipeline observability through C# and React solution engineering including integration data processing and user-facing views.

  6. Collaborate with delivery squads Security and observability solution engineers on integration decisions access requirements and support boundaries
Required Skills & Experience
Pipeline Engineering
  • Proven experience building pipeline templates and workflows as reusable components and publishing them as versioned templates consumed across multiple repositories or teams rather than copied into individual pipelines.
  • Demonstrable experience defining component interfaces releasing versions managing compatibility and breaking changes and supporting consumer upgrades.
  • Practical experience with GitHub Actions: reusable workflows composite actions versioned references inputs outputs permissions secrets and workflow troubleshooting.
  • Practical experience with Azure DevOps YAML: shared template repositories versioned references parameters conditions stages jobs variable groups and service connections.
  • Experience integrating security scanning into CI/CD including interpreting results implementing gates and diagnosing scanner failures.
  • Evidence of automated template validation adoption documentation and successful reuse of shared components in delivery pipelines.
Solution Engineering: C# and React
  • Proven hands-on solution engineering skills in C#/.NET and React delivering changes across backend services API integrations and frontend views to extend an existing solution.

  • Git fluency pull-request review and practical experience testing and troubleshooting pipelines backend services and frontend views.
Observability and Security
  • Strong security awareness across CI/CD and software engineering including pipeline trust boundaries least-privilege permissions secret management untrusted pull-request code and software supply-chain risks.
  • Ability to apply secure-by-default controls recognise and escalate risks and work with Security on appropriate gates and remediation guidance.
  • Experience collecting and presenting CI/CD telemetry including execution status timings failure reasons and traceability to source runs.
  • Ability to define meaningful metrics and distinguish delivery failures security-policy failures and telemetry-collection failures.
  • Secure handling of credentials and operational data with least-privilege access and appropriate separation of sensitive security information.
  • Clear documentation and effective collaboration with delivery engineers platform teams and security specialists.
