About the role:
In a highly competitive and saturated marketplace creating visually stunning impactful and effective creative work is essential. We want to create industry-leading world-class workthatstruly beautiful smart and effective. To help us achieve our goal we are looking for a strong highly motivated designer to join us in this exciting ambition.
As Design Lead you will be taking design projects from brief to completion for our client You will be a focused-on print digital and social assets and campaigns online content and product to lead not just be led and enjoy taking ownership and responsibility for projects. You need to be a teamplayer that would enjoy sharing their knowledge and experience.
You will take the lead at concept development of visual design and the development of creative projects ensuring consistency with the overall brand and marketing strategy and represent best-in-class execution whilst still being very hands on. And as such the team will look to you as a Brand Guardian on key accounts. A strong understanding of typography graphic design best practices and branding is essential as is the experience to execute projects of all sizes and complete them with resourcefulness and dedication.
As well aspossessingfastaccuratedesign skills the right candidate will be well organized and able to work autonomously but will very much be a team player with a positive can-do mind set. Our work is a collaborative process and may circulate across our team of art directors and designers so you willneed to be both flexible and systematic. The volume of work does not always call for specialist art workers so our designers need to be comfortable creating and updating artwork at times.

- Presentation Designs
- Product and campaign assets
- Re-purposing and adaptation of existing brand toolkits to recreate fresh content
What you will be doing:
You will work on a variety of different projects ranging from presentation design digital and social advertising brand development key visual mock ups and a range of responsive web projects. As wefoster a close working relationship with our clients you must be comfortable presenting and taking client feedback directly. Building client trust is key to producing better work.
Leadership
- To provide leadership andexpertiseto the design team
- Mentor develop and/or line manage other copywriters who are less senior
- Work with Account Managers to help decide on best talent for a brief
- Brand guardianship on key accounts
- Presenting your work internally and to clients
Design
- Developing an expert understanding of the brand guidelines and brand templates
- Ensuring consistency and adherence toguidelines across all deliverables
- Following existing styles and templates to createaccurate on-brand design
- Creating collateral including but not limited to brochures infographics social postsstoryboards emailersbannersand templates
- Conducting searches toidentifyon-brand imagery/footage to add to the brands existing asset bank
- Brainstorming and conceptualizing on seasonal topicaland celebratory campaigns and creatives
- Incorporating frequent self-initiated quality checks into your standard workflow andmaintaininghigh standardsof quality in all deliverables
- Maintaining bestpractices with file-keeping and file set-up
- Taking and investigating briefs fromProject Managers working closely with internal and external Creative Directors and collaborating with the wider creative team to ensure on-brief delivery
- Putting in place effective creative workflows to train guide and inspire the wider creative team
- Conducting quality checks to ensure standards of quality arebeing met across the team
- Maintaining timesheets accurately and on time
- Staying abreast of design trends and sharing with colleagues
- Identifyingopportunities to add creativity within the boundariesof the brand world and templates
- Managing workloads within agreed timings
- Gauging feasibility of proposed timings and negotiating reasonable and acceptable revisions ifrequired
