Functional Design of pedestrian protection and low speed crash:
- Set up assessment and communication models using CAVA tool in Catia defining the testing areas Head intrusion areas (KEFLA) and barrier positions for new and existing derivatives. Starting with early styling phases and throughout the entire development.
- Co work with BMW senior technical specialists (FGI-5) and preparing homologation documentation for pedestrian protection and low speed pendulum
- Establish a databank containing these communication and assessment models
- Exchange of CAVA models with the simulation department
- Maintain the requirements for pedestrian protection and low speed crash in prisma
What should you bring along
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
