Deputy Manager Taxation

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the indirect tax function managing audits assessments and compliance under GST and preGST regimes.
• Drive endtoend GST processes including reconciliations returns filing statutory reporting and handling assessments.
• EstablishSOPs drive automation and enable ERP/API integrations to deliver scalable tax processes.
• Provide insights to management on indirect tax implications customs and regulatory changes.
• Champion a zerotolerance compliance culture with clear activity planning and milestone tracking.
• Lead costsaving initiatives digitalization projects and continuous improvement programs.
• Partner with finance operations and external stakeholders; represent the organization with tax authorities.
• Oversee TDS reconciliation and related statutory requirements ensuring seamless integration with overall compliance processes.

Leadership & People Management:

• Build and lead a highperforming tax teamfostering accountability continuous learning and process discipline.
• Make timely wellinformed decisions that balance operational priorities with strategic outcomes.
• Align team objectives with organizational goalsdriving performance excellence and measurable impact.
• Collaborate crossfunctionally with Finance Procurement Legal and external advisorsto deliver integrated solutions.
