Role Summary

  • Deputy General Manager (DGM) HR & Payroll to lead the organizations payroll compensation & benefits statutory compliance HR operations and employee lifecycle management. The role requires strong expertise in payroll governance labor law compliance HR systems and process improvement while partnering with business leaders to drive organizational effectiveness in a manufacturing/EPC environment.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll & Compensation

  • Lead end-to-end payroll operations across all business locations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate salary processing reimbursements incentives bonuses and statutory deductions.
  • Oversee payroll audits and ensure complete compliance with company policies.
  • Manage annual salary revisions increments promotions and variable pay administration.
  • Drive payroll automation and process improvements.

Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and statutory requirements.
  • Oversee PF ESI Professional Tax Labour Welfare Fund Income Tax (TDS) Gratuity Bonus and other statutory compliances.
  • Liaise with government authorities during inspections and audits.
  • Ensure statutory filings and documentation are completed accurately and on time.

HR Operations

  • Lead the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit.
  • Develop and implement HR policies SOPs and governance frameworks.
  • Ensure effective HR documentation and records management.
  • Drive HR process standardization across locations.

HRIS & MIS

  • Manage HRMS and payroll systems.
  • Develop HR dashboards and management reports.
  • Provide workforce analytics and payroll insights to senior leadership.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives in HR.

Employee Relations

  • Maintain healthy employee relations across manufacturing and corporate functions.
  • Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
  • Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives.

Leadership & Business Partnering

  • Partner with business leaders on manpower planning and workforce optimization.
