We are seeking a dedicated and physically active individual to join our logistics team as a Delivery Associate within the IT Services sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and timely movement of packages from our distribution centers to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe handling of goods maintaining positive customer interactions and managing financial transactions accurately. This position requires a proactive approach to route optimization and time management to uphold our commitment to reliability and service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Execute the safe loading and unloading of goods and equipment in compliance with safety protocols.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during the delivery process addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Manage cash transactions securely including collecting payments and issuing accurate receipts.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with dispatch teams and customers regarding delivery status.
- Plan and adhere to optimized delivery routes to ensure timely completion of all assignments.
- Handle all packages with care to prevent damage and ensure items arrive in perfect condition.
- Manage time efficiently to meet strict delivery schedules and daily targets.
