What You will Be Doing
Job Summary
As a Data-Driven Sourcing Analyst you will bridge the gap between customer demand and global supply. You will analyze technical electronic component data (such as manufacturer part numbers lead times and date codes) to make smart strategic buying decisions. This role is a perfect blend of technical data analysis proactive market research and international stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Demand Analysis & Quote Strategy: Analyze manufacturer part numbers (MPNs) manufacturers (MFRs) Lead times date codes and pricing. You will match what the customer needs with what is available globally to build highly competitive high-margin quotes.
Global Market Sourcing: Proactively hunt for global supply opportunities and collaborate directly with the buying team to lock down inventory and maximize revenue.
Opportunity Management: Move beyond reactive order-filling. You will monitor the market and proactively re-engage past transaction whenever lucrative vendor offers or hard-to-find components become available.
Database Management: Maintain a sharp centralized database of all market transactions and vendor availability to keep sourcing data accurate and actionable.
Stakeholder Communication: Manage complex daily interactions with international vendors and global stakeholders using exceptional English communication skills.
What We Are Looking For
Experience & Education:
3 years of relevant experience in sourcing supply chain or electronic component analysis.
Graduate degree from a reputable university.
Technical & Domain Skills:
Proven ability to interpret complex supply chain datasets using Advanced Excel Power BI and MS Power Apps.
Familiarity with the electronic component lifecycle technical specifications and global distribution standards.
Exceptional written and verbal English proficiency for seamless daily interaction with international stakeholders.
Mindset & Adaptability:
A strong analytical mindset with an open-minded approach to problem-solving. You can manage complex data under tight deadlines and grasp broader supply chain concepts to improve overall efficiency.
A demonstrated commitment to organizational goals including the flexibility to work on public holidays to align with global client time zones.
