DCS Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DCS Operator to join our team on a contract basis in Bengaluru Karnataka. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in DCS operation and control room environments with a proven track record of effectively managing complex systems.

• Operate and monitor Distributed Control Systems (DCS) to ensure efficient and safe plant operations.
• Perform routine checks and adjustments to process parameters according to established procedures.
• Respond promptly to alarms and deviations taking corrective actions to maintain process stability.
• Collaborate with engineers and other operational staff to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of operational activities and system status.
• Participate in shift handovers ensuring clear communication of critical information.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the control room environment.

• Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 12 years of experience in DCS Operation.
• Proficiency in DCS operation specifically within control room environments.
• Experience with Delta-V vision systems is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of process control principles and instrumentation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and make sound decisions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
