We are looking for an experienced Data Security Engineer / Database Administrator with a strong background in SQL Server Database Administration and enterprise cloud data security.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in database administration database security cloud security and Azure-based data warehousing. Recent and relevant experience working on Azure technologies is mandatory.

Candidates with experience in securing enterprise analytics and cloud data environments will be strongly preferred.

• Implement and maintain cloud-based data and analytics security solutions.

• Design configure and manage access policies for databases schemas tables and other database objects.

• Secure sensitive and confidential data including CCI and PII through appropriate security controls.

• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) Column-Level Security (CLS) data masking and data encryption.

• Manage database security configurations and access controls across enterprise environments.

• Ensure compliance with information security policies and control standards.

• Troubleshoot database and data security issues and perform root cause analysis.

• Investigate security incidents and implement corrective and preventive measures.

• Apply cloud security best practices within the Azure environment.

• Work on cloud identity access management and application security.

• Support secure data warehousing and analytics environments.

• Maintain security documentation and follow established security standards.

• Strong hands-on experience in SQL Server Database Administration (DBA).

• Solid understanding of Database Security and Administration.

• Mandatory recent experience in the Azure Cloud Environment.

• Experience with Azure Data Warehousing and Analytics.

• Strong knowledge of Cloud Security concepts and best practices.

• Experience in database access management and security policies.

• Knowledge of RLS CLS data masking and data encryption.

• Understanding of sensitive data protection including CCI and PII.

• Experience in troubleshooting security incident management and root cause analysis.

• 6–9 years of overall experience in Database Administration / Data Security Engineering.

• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Azure Data Warehousing and Analytics.

• Strong practical experience in SQL Server DBA activities.

• Recent Azure experience is mandatory.

• Experience securing enterprise cloud data environments.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Technology Information Security Information Assurance Information Management or a related field.

• Equivalent relevant professional experience may also be considered.

• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).

• Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK).

• Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500).

• Other relevant Cloud Security certifications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

• Understanding of enterprise data security architecture.

• Ability to work with cross-functional technical teams.

• Strong communication and documentation skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Important: Candidates must have recent hands-on Azure experience along with strong SQL Server DBA expertise.
