Data Scientist

Main Responsibilities:

Identify data sources both internal and external to Amadeus and transform them into useful insights that support fact-based decision-making.
Collect manage and analyze diverse large-scale data from various sources using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques to perform comprehensive data analysis.
Ensure the accuracy of data collected.
Communicate and translate detailed results and their implications to business stakeholders.
Define collection processes and select the appropriate data infrastructure to perform analysis while continuously seeking effective and improved methods to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Implement data analysis algorithms on a large scale working closely with data engineering members.
Work using established procedures or guidelines and provide inputs to support/influence area decisions. Make recommendations on new solutions and propose improvements by analyzing different sources of information.
Work with a moderate level of guidance and direction from the manager.


Relevant Work Experience:

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python R or SQL.
Experience in transforming data into insights to identify and quantify business opportunities.
Experience in Data Visualization Machine Learning and Data Science.
Strong understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
Ability to solve business problems by employing Machine Learning (ML) Artificial Intelligence (AI) statistical learning pattern recognition or high-performance computing techniques.
Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering results within deadlines.
Relevant degree in Applied Mathematics Computer Sciences Engineering or a similar field.
Knowledge of the Travel Industry is a plus.
