About the role

The Data Quality Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy integrity and quality of our organizations master data. He/She will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets identify trends defining KPIs and provide actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making. He/She will leverage skills in statistical analysis SQL PLSQL Advanced Excel Power BI to drive insights and improvements in data quality and usability.

Data Quality Management:

  • Ensure data quality by analyzing profiling and monitoring data to identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Develop and implement data quality standards policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish data quality metrics and targets.

Data Governance:

  • This role will interface with data governance frameworks processes and controls.
  • Define data quality rules data lineage and data classification.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulations.
    Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends patterns and anomalies.
  • Generate data quality reports and dashboards to communicate findings and insights.
  • Provide recommendations and action plans to improve data quality.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with Data Quality Data governance business users data owners and IT teams etc. to understand data requirements and resolve data quality.
  • Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on data quality best practices.
  • Conduct training and awareness sessions on master data quality management.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously enhance personal knowledge and skills in data quality management through training certifications and staying updated with industry advancements contributing to ongoing improvement efforts.
About you

Education: A bachelors degree in a relevant field such as computer science information systems statistics or mathematics is often preferred.
Preference to Professional certification in data analytics e.g. CompTIA Data Power BI Data Analyst Associate SQL PLSQL MS Excel.

With minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Proven experience in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets identifying data quality issues and proposing solutions.
Strong communication skills and experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams documenting data quality issues and presenting findings to stakeholders.
Proven ability to identify data quality problems investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.


Understanding of data management principles master data data quality frameworks and data governance practices .
Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets identifying patterns and drawing meaningful insights.
Ability to query databases to extract and manipulate data for quality assessment.
Ability to think analytically and critically to solve complex data quality problems.
Willingness to stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in data quality management.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
