Mandatory Requirements:

1 2 years of project management experience or operations planning experience.
1 2 years experience with physical network infrastructure deployment and troubleshooting.
1 2 years experience with network cabling (fiber optic & copper).
English language communication ability (written and verbal).
Basic knowledge of computer hardware and network cabling principles.
Ability to work well with others in a team environment displaying excellent time management skills and the ability to follow direction.
Able to work at heights or use ladders for continued periods; comfortable in data center physical environments.
Have strong attention to detail and consistently maintain high quality standards.
2 years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds (approx. 18 kg).
High school or equivalent diploma as minimum educational qualification.
Minimum 12 months of relevant hands-on experience in data center operations cabling infrastructure or rack installation.

Preferred skills:

Substantial background in large-scale data center network implementations and support.
Knowledge of Copper and Fiber Optic testing methodologies and standards.
Ability to read basic layout drawings wiring diagrams and data center floorplans.
Industry standard certifications (CompTIA CITY & GUILDS Cabling cert or equivalent).
Previous experience working in a Data Center environment (racking & stacking gear cable management).
Knowledge of server hardware and components including CPUs memory storage and NICs.
Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies.
Experience with AWS data center operations or equivalent hyperscale cloud infrastructure environment.
Knowledge of Strider workflows and Mobility/Boost inventory management systems.
Familiarity with MCM (Maintenance Change Management) processes and ticketing platforms.
Experience coordinating with vendors contractors and multi-functional partner teams.
Understanding of RSPC (Rack Space Power Cooling) processes and rack allocation workflows.
Previous experience in Late Binding operations network deployment or data center hand-off processes.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office including PowerPoint Excel and Word.

Education or Certification:

Diploma/Graduation in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
