What awaits you/ Job Profile

Our team is responsible for the diagnosis and availability of all BMW otto engines. Our area of responsibility ranges from diagnostic implementation as a specialist centre to the design and validation of emergency runs. We are also responsible for creation the onboard diagnostic approval documents for all otto engines.

We are looking to strengthen our team in this field for

- data handling data comparison in terms of diagnostic software integration

- HIL Testing of diagnostic infrastructure testing

What should you bring along

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach
• Data handling data comparison in terms of diagnostic software integration otto ECU.
• Support Diagnosis integration into vehicle Software.
• HiL tests for diagnostic infrastructure topics in the context of SGBD (ECU description files) fault memory environmental conditions and ECU services

Must have technical skill

• ECU software development
• on-board diagnostics and diagnostic communication in general (ISO 14229)
• HiL- or Testbench based ECU testing
• OBD scantool protocols

Good to have Technical skills

• proprietary BMW tools beneficial: Zedis Best/2 CRETA CalibSDV INCA ETAS LAUTERBACH EDIABAS E-SYS CANoe Tool64
• Experience with MS Excel for data analysis
• Deeper understanding of vehicle onboard architecture
• Knowledge of automation techniques for certification document creation
