Cybersecurity SOC Engineer Hyderabad, Pune, and Bangalore Hybrid

Day-to-day implementation and maintenance of IT security environments and tools. Hands-on experience in SOC Operations Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) Threat Hunting Endpoint Security Microsoft Defender and PowerShell scripting. Support integration projects involving log source onboarding into SIEM development of new detection content API connectors troubleshooting analysis monitoring security alerts and performing health checks.

• Strong knowledge of SOC processes including monitoring triage incident response and escalation
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk QRadar Sentinel ArcSight etc.
• Hands-on experience with SOAR platforms such as Cortex XSOAR Splunk SOAR IBM SOAR etc.
• Incident Response and Threat Analysis knowledge including MITRE ATT&CK Cyber Kill Chain and IOC analysis
• Experience with security tool integration including EDR IDS/IPS Email Security and Firewalls
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python PowerShell or Bash
• Experience in playbook development and automation workflows
• Good understanding of network endpoint and cloud security
• Experience in use-case development alert tuning and false-positive reduction
• Knowledge of cloud security platforms such as Azure AWS and GCP
• Exposure to EDR/XDR tools including CrowdStrike Microsoft Defender SentinelOne and Palo Alto Cortex
• Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Qualys Tenable and Rapid7
• Security certifications preferred: GCIA GCIH GCED CEH CISSP Azure Security
• Experience in client-facing roles and handling audits or compliance requirements
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and API-based integrations
