CyberSecurity Governance Analyst
Job Summary
As a CyberSecurity Governance Analyst you will translate our requirements into security changes. These changes need to happen to achieve or maintain compliance. You will also conduct appropriate tests and security audits. We conduct these audits to start and maintain operations in regulated markets.
CyberSecurity Governance offers Internal and External services relating to Compliance Standards Regulations and Information Security to ensure understanding of our Technology offering with the obligations that we are exposed to.
These requirements mainly come from the Regulatory Compliance team and other stakeholders such as Finance Payments Marketing etc. define them.
This is a position for an experienced compliance professional who wishes to start a role within a busy global Cybersecurity team.
What will you do
- Drive technical reviews of all internal platforms and operating systems to ensure the companies technical standards are met.
- Review a wide variety of systems based on a defined assessment criterion.
- Report on any discrepancies from the expected standards detailing the findings.
- Liaise with Technical Compliance Experts to discuss the findings from an assessment.
- Regular evaluation of system compliance across multiple audits to gain insight into deviations in standards.
- Assist with the benchmarking the compliance of key company systems.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders to understand the scope of testing required.
- Execute assessments to implement the group Technical Compliance strategy.
- Diligent reviews of information following a set assessment methodology.
- Comfort with logging into key systems to run scripts and test key attributes.
- Gather and update internal documentation with changes when required.
Qualifications :
- Education Qualification: Graduation or BTech in Computer Science / IT / Cybersecurity
- Customer-oriented person with the ability to educate a non-technical audience on Technical Compliance and cybersecurity subjects
- Good Understanding / Awareness of Operating Systems (Windows Linux) Databases (Oracle MSSQL)
- Bare minimal understanding of PowerShell or Shell scripting / commands for review activities.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience of assessing systems or similar
- Excellent knowledge of Technical Compliance processes as well as outstanding technical knowledge of the underlying technical foundations
- Experience in the following areas:
- ITGC / IT Audits
- ISO 27001
- Understanding of Business Process audits Reviews
- PCI DSS
- Risk management
