Cyber Security Analyst

Job Summary**

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our team at FLSmidth A/S. In this role you will be instrumental in protecting our digital assets identifying and responding to security threats and ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our information systems across a global enterprise.

Job Responsibilities**

* Monitor security systems and tools for alerts anomalies and potential security incidents.
* Perform in-depth analysis of security events logs and network traffic to identify and investigate threats.
* Respond to security incidents including incident containment eradication recovery and post-incident analysis.
* Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our systems and applications.
* Develop and implement security controls policies and procedures to enhance our security posture.
* Collaborate with IT operations and development teams to integrate security best practices into our infrastructure and software development lifecycle.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats trends and technologies.
* Assist in security awareness training for employees.
* Maintain documentation of security incidents analyses and configurations.
* Participate in security audits and compliance initiatives.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Cybersecurity or a related field.
* 2 years of experience in a cybersecurity role preferably within a corporate environment.
* Strong understanding of network protocols operating systems (Windows Linux) and cloud environments (Azure AWS).
* Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM EDR IDS/IPS firewalls and vulnerability scanners.
* Experience with incident response methodologies and forensic analysis.
* Knowledge of common cybersecurity frameworks (e.g. NIST ISO 27001).
* Certifications such as CompTIA Security CEH CySA or similar are a plus.
* Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
