Job Title: Control System Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide process control control systems and automation engineering support for refining petrochemical renewable fuels or complex process manufacturing facilities.
  
• Support Distributed Control Systems (DCS) Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and PLC-based control platforms.
  
• Work on control system changes Management of Change (MOC) testing validation commissioning support and technical documentation.
  
• Interpret P&IDs control narratives process trends operating procedures interlocks alarm documentation and cause-and-effect logic.
  
• Support alarm management controller performance improvement control system reliability and process safety initiatives.
  
• Analyze process data identify control issues and recommend practical engineering solutions.
  
• Coordinate with Operations Process Control Automation Instrumentation Engineering and remote site teams.
  
• Maintain accurate engineering records communicate project updates and ensure timely completion of deliverables and action items.
  
• Follow operational excellence safety standards change control procedures and engineering best practices.

• BE / in Engineering.
  
• Hands-on experience with DCS SIS or PLC-based control systems.
  
• Preferred experience with Emerson DeltaV DeltaV SIS and Allen-Bradley PLCs.
  
• Knowledge of MOC change control testing validation and commissioning processes.
  
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs control narratives interlocks alarm documentation and process trends.
  
• Strong understanding of process safety operational excellence reliability and alarm management.
  
• Experience in petroleum refining petrochemicals renewable fuels or other process manufacturing industries.
  
• Strong analytical troubleshooting technical documentation and communication skills.
  
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and remote site stakeholders.
  
• Strong ownership follow-up problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
