Required Qualifications:
- 6 years of professional software engineering experience with atleast 3 years in full-stack roles
- Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript with deep understanding ofadvanced types generics and type safety patterns
- Extensive experience building production applications with React (App Router Server Components API routes)
- Proven track record building and scaling e-commerce platforms withhands-on experience in Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business models
- Strong understanding of payment systems including third-partyintegrations fraud prevention and PCI compliance
- Experience architecting and maintaining serverless applications(Azure Functions AWS Lambda or similar)
- Deep knowledge of web architecture performance optimization andscalable infrastructure
- Experience with headless CMS platforms and content modeling
- Proficiency with modern testing strategies including unit integrationand E2E testing
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence technicaldecisions across teams
- Experience mentoring engineers and elevating team technicalcapabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Azure ecosystem (Functions Service Bus BlobStorage Application Insights) or equivalent AWS services
- Hands-on experience with CommerceTools or similar commerceplatforms
- Deep knowledge of including streaming caching strategiesand edge runtime optimization
- Experience with monorepo tools like Turborepo
- Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0 SAML JWT) andidentity providers like Auth0
- Experience with error monitoring tools such as Sentry or New Relic
- Understanding of CDN strategies edge computing and globalcontent delivery
- Experience with Docker containerization and CI/CD pipelines
- Contributions to open source or demonstrated thought leadership inthe web development community
Job requirements
What Youll Work On:
- Design and architect scalable features for our Direct-to-Consumer e-commerce platform built on and Azure
- Own critical systems including payment processing CMS integrationauthentication and commerce workflows
- Lead technical initiatives from design through deployment ensuringperformance security and reliability
- Build and optimize our TypeScript monorepo using Turborepobalancing shared code with application independence
- Drive integration strategy for third-party platforms includingCommerceTools Contentful Auth0 Braze and payment gateways
- Establish engineering standards and best practices across testingmonitoring and deployment
- Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews pairprogramming and technical guidance
- Collaborate with Product Design and cross-functional stakeholdersto translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize application performance including Core Web Vitals bundlesize and serverless function efficiency
- Contribute to architectural decisions that impact the scalability andmaintainability of the platform
- Champion accessibility internationalization and compliancerequirements (GDPR PCI-DSS)
