Consultant Procurement

This is a 1-year contractual role a direct contract (on payroll)

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Payment Processing:

o Manage and coordinate payment processes for local vendors.

Import Remittance Handling:

o Liaise with banks for outward remittances for import payments.

o Ensure compliance with RBI and FEMA guidelines related to foreign remittance.

Banking Transactions & IDPMS Closure:

o Track and manage the Import Data Processing and Monitoring System (IDPMS).

o Ensure timely closure of IDPMS entries and reconciliation with actual transactions.

Documentation and Compliance:

o Maintain accurate records for all import transactions including invoices shipping documents and payment proofs.

o Assist in preparing documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.

Operational Support:

o Provide additional support in managing and updating procurement-related data.

o Handle miscellaneous tasks to ensure smooth execution of import and NPD operations

Who are we looking for

Education:

A bachelors in engineering and any procurement courses will be an added advantage

Experience:

1 to 5 years of experience from FMCG background are highly preferred

Skills:

Understanding of import procurement processes and international trade documentation.

Hands-on experience with banking transactions including IDPMS.

Familiarity with local vendor payment processes.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.

Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
