Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
CPS (Cost Per Shipment): Monitor analyze and optimize the cost per shipment to ensure cost efficiency across the logistics and distribution network.
Track and Drive Direct Shipments: Ensure smooth tracking and management of direct shipments identifying bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions where necessary to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
Distribution Planning & Tool Implementation: Lead the implementation and maintenance of distribution planning tools ensuring that systems are running efficiently and that data is regularly updated. Oversee master data maintenance for distribution.
CSD Distribution: Manage and optimize Customer Service Distribution (CSD) processes ensuring adherence to established norms and effective distribution channels.
Norms Adherence: Ensure compliance with all logistics-related norms both internal and external and identify opportunities to improve operational standards.
Lease Deed Registration: Oversee the registration and renewal of lease deeds related to logistics facilities ensuring compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
Tracker Automation Projects: Manage and drive automation projects aimed at improving tracking and reporting capabilities within the logistics operations.
Audit Matrix at Warehouse: Develop and execute audit matrices for warehouse operations ensuring compliance with logistics standards and driving continuous improvements based on audit findings.
DRP (Distribution Requirement Planning) Adherence: Ensure adherence to Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) processes to maintain optimal inventory levels and timely deliveries.
FIFO (First In First Out) Violation Monitoring: Monitor FIFO adherence within warehouses and distribution centers taking corrective actions in case of violations to ensure product quality and minimize stock wastage.
PA-KS Fill Rate: Analyze and track the PA-KS (Product Availability-Knowledge Sharing) fill rate to ensure product availability in line with customer demands.
Monthly MIS Management & Tracking: Generate and track Monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports including key metrics such as spend RTKM (Revenue Tonne-Kilometers) per kg analysis and freight to sales ratios. Use insights to improve cost efficiency and operational performance.
Who are we looking for
Education: Bachelors or Master s degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics management.
Skills:
Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of logistics and distribution tools and supply chain management software (SAP Oracle etc.).
Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis skills with a focus on logistics performance metrics including RTKM fill rates cost analysis and inventory management.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage projects especially in process automation and tool implementation within logistics and supply chain functions.
Communication: Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams vendors and third-party logistics providers.
Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address operational issues and optimize logistics performance.
