Job Summary
Summary: We are seeking an experienced Oracle CPQ Cloud Functional Consultant to provide production support for a live Oracle CPQ Cloud environment. The consultant will be responsible for handling incidents troubleshooting issues assisting with enhancements and ensuring the CPQ system runs smoothly with high availability and data integrity
Key Responsibilities:
Provide production support expertise for Oracle CPQ Cloud resolving incidents and service requests in accordance with support SLAs.
Investigate and resolve functional issues related to pricing rules product configuration quote templates and approvals.
Monitor system health performance and error logs; participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Manage and support pricing rules product models attributes constraint rules and term sets.
Configure CPQ components including BMQL BML scripts Commerce Configuration and Document Engine
Support approval workflows negotiation workflows and pricing approvals within CPQ.
Assist with patching configuration changes and releases in non-production and production environments.
Maintain support documentation knowledge base articles and runbooks for recurring issues and resolutions.
Collaborate with technical teams (integrations APIs) to resolve integration issues and ensure accurate data flows.
Required Skills & Experience:
36 years of hands-on experience with Oracle CPQ Cloud in a production support / operational role.
Experience in root cause analysis troubleshooting and issue resolution in a live SaaS environment.
Familiarity with CPQ administration tasks (users roles access controls business objects).
Understanding of integration patterns between CPQ and ERP/CRM systems (e.g. through Web Services/REST).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong functional knowledge of pricing product configuration rules engine templates and workflows.
Must have technical hands-on development activities related to Configuration Commerce Document Designer Workflow Approvals Email Templates Steps BML Commerce and Configuration Layout Design
Must have hands-on with CPQ Administrative activities like Environment Setup Data Table Management File Manager User and Group Management Parts creation Code Migration Cascading Stylesheets (CSS)
Proven ability to work independently and as a team member to perform hands-on development tasks prototyping proof-of-concepts technical design on a scalable solution as required in support of current and new Oracle CPQ (BigMachines) Cloud projects
Experience with integrating CPQ to third party systems using SOAP/REST APIs
Expertise in troubleshooting/debugging issues and identifying/documenting the Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Experience in raising Technical service requests with Oracle and taking the issue to closure
Preferred Qualifications:
Oracle CPQ Cloud certification(s).
Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or middleware tools
Experience with SLA-based support models or managed services.
Exposure to end-to-end implementations.
