You will take on the role of Component Responsible (CoRe) for Geometrical Integration in Vertical Dynamics a key area ensuring the seamless integration of components influencing vehicle performance and quality.
In this role you will manage geometric integration tasks such as publishing and positioning components in virtual vehicles controlling and coordinating data deliveries with suppliers and leading the SE team for air ducts with Indian suppliers. You will work closely across cross-functional teams contributing to design space modeling cable routing visualization and preparation of component approvals. What should you bring along
Strong engineering background in Mechanical Mechatronics or related fields
Experience or solid understanding of the vehicle development process
Ability to think in a networked and systemic way
Proven team player with leadership qualities and excellent communication skills in English
Experience in coordinating with suppliers and managing data deliveries
Passion for innovation and quality in automotive engineering
Must have technical skill
Proficient in MS Office and MS Teams
Experienced with CATIA for geometric design and modeling
Familiarity with SAP and IPS Cable systems
Knowledge of BMW-specific tools and systems such as NextOne Applaus-App iRAM EFA Cobra gAMS Freigabeleitstand Matrix Prisma and MyWorkplace
Good to have Technical skills
Experience in 3D concept design package and tolerance investigations
Ability to prepare release documentation and support virtual car modeling
Knowledge of damper cable laying and air pipe installation
Prior experience in supplier management and escalation processes
