Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager with a strong background in civil/structural engineering and business development to oversee commercial operations contract management and project coordination in the roofing sheet and construction materials sector. The ideal candidate will drive business growth manage client relationships and ensure smooth execution of projects from bid stage to final settlement.

Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Contract Management

Manage end-to-end commercial activities from enquiry to contract closure.
Prepare review negotiate and finalize contract terms and conditions.
Handle agreements including NDAs MOUs and customer framework agreements.
Generate competitive bid pricing aligned with company strategies and policies.
Lead contract acceptance and ensure compliance with commercial standards.

Sales Related Activities

Preparation of SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for Project Sales Flow.
Support to Sales / Technical Team in bidding process for the Project.
Monitor sales activity in CRM Software/Odoo Software.
Supervise CRM Reports generation in CRM Software.

Business Development & Client Management

Support Sales/Bid Managers in preparing and delivering winning proposals.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
Participate in price negotiations and provide detailed justifications to clients.
Ensure timely advance collections and final settlements.

Project Coordination & Execution

Coordinate with customer architects and internal teams for smooth project execution.
Liaise with factory teams for:

o Production planning
o Material planning
o Dispatch planning

Monitor project progress and resolve commercial or operational issues.

Financial & Operational Oversight

Manage project financials cost control and profitability.
Maintain commercial records documentation and database updates.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and contractual obligations.

Proficiency in:

o Project management tools
o CRM systems
o CADD software
o Data analysis tools

Leadership and team management capabilities.

Qualifications

Engineering Graduate (Civil / Structural preferred)
Specialization in Marketing / Business Development is an added advantage.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in construction materials / steel buildings / roofing sheets / sandwich panel industry and industrial construction and projects/Infrastructure projects.
At least 5 years experience in a managerial role.
