WE ARE HIRING Color Stone Grader
We are hiring an experienced Color Stone Grader to evaluate and grade colored gemstones based on color clarity cut carat weight transparency origin characteristics and overall quality.
Location: Jaipur City Office Jaipur Sitapura Office & Kolkata
Experience: 49 Years
Budget: As per Industry Standards
Interview Mode: Face-to-Face Only
Work Mode: On-site
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and grade colored gemstones according to established quality standards
- Evaluate color hue tone saturation clarity cut polish symmetry and transparency
- Identify gemstones such as Ruby Sapphire Emerald Amethyst Topaz Tourmaline Garnet Tanzanite and Aquamarine
- Detect visible inclusions fractures treatments and other quality characteristics
- Identify signs of heat treatment filling dyeing irradiation diffusion and other enhancements
- Assess gemstones under appropriate lighting and magnification
- Sort and categorize stones based on quality size color and commercial value
- Maintain accurate grading records and documentation
- Coordinate with Production Quality Control Purchase and Sales teams
- Ensure grading consistency and adherence to company quality standards
- Handle gemstones carefully and follow proper security procedures
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of colored gemstones and their characteristics
Experience in colored stone grading / gemstone sorting
Good visual observation and color differentiation skills
Knowledge of gemstone treatments imitations and synthetics
Familiarity with loupe microscope refractometer polariscope and dichroscope
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to perform repetitive grading and sorting tasks
Good communication and documentation skills
