Description :
A Cloud Architect is responsible for designing managing and overseeing the cloud computing strategy of an organization. They ensure that the cloud infrastructure aligns with the organization s business and technical requirements. The role involves a combination of technical and strategic responsibilities making it vital for cloud-based environments. The person MUST be hands-on on ALL required technologies.
Keywords: Azure/AWS Solution Architect End-to-End Designing (IaaS and PaaS) Cloud Migration and modernization (Re-platform) DevOps IaC (Terraform Azure DevOps/CFT) Containerization (Docker Kubernetes Rancher etc.) FinOps.

5 Thorough experience in Cloud Managed Services Cloud Security and Networking aspects on Cloud X
6 Thorough experience in implementation of Infra DevOps (IaC scripting) and automation X
7 Being part of the solutioning as per customer requirements X
9 Hands-on experience in Containerization (Kubernetes Docker Rancher etc.) X
10 Hybrid Cloud experience X

Certifications:
1. AWS/Azure Administration certification is MUST.
2. AWS/Azure Solution Architect certification is MUST. (AZ-104 AZ-305)
3. AWS/Azure DevOps/Professional/Speciality Certification would be a plus.
Job Description:
Primary Skills :
AWS/Azure Architecture Solution Architecture and Design Networking & Security and Identity Management solutions Infrastructure as a Code IaC (Terraform Azure DevOps/CFT) Containerization (Docker Kubernetes Rancher etc.) Performance Management.

Secondary Skills:
DevOps and CI/CD Automation & Scripting DR/Backup Data & Storage Containers & Orchestration API management and Integration Services AI (Optional)

Key Responsibilities:

Designing Cloud Solutions:
Develop cloud architecture solutions to meet business objectives.
Design scalable secure and cost-effective cloud infrastructure.
Choose appropriate cloud platforms and services (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud).
Cloud Strategy and Planning:
Define the cloud strategy and roadmap.
Identify risks opportunities and cloud migration strategies.
Guide teams through cloud adoption and transformation processes.
Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Platform as a Service (PaaS) Software as a Service (SaaS):
Design and implement solutions utilizing IaaS PaaS and SaaS based on requirements.
Manage integrations between on-premises systems and cloud services.
Security and Compliance:
Ensure that the cloud infrastructure is secure and compliant with industry standards.
Work with security teams to implement security best practices (e.g. encryption IAM policies).


Collaboration:
Work closely with DevOps security networking and application teams to ensure smooth deployments and operations.
Communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
Cost Management:
Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage to control costs.
Implement cloud cost management strategies and tools.
Cloud Governance:
Establish and enforce policies and governance frameworks for cloud usage.
Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track cloud performance and issues.
Stay Updated with Cloud Technologies:
Keep abreast of new cloud technologies services and tools.
Recommend new cloud technologies to improve the business environment.
