Role Overview: As an L3/L2 Network Engineer you will be responsible for the implementation monitoring and troubleshooting of enterprise connectivity solutions across campus and data center environments. You will support software-defined networking security infrastructure and cloud-integrated services to ensure stable secure and scalable operations. This role focuses on day-to-day operations incident resolution and network performance optimization while collaborating with engineering security and operations teams to maintain a reliable and resilient enterprise network ecosystem.

Operations & Support
Monitor and maintainenterprise network infrastructureacross campus and data center environments
PerformL2/L3 troubleshootingof network security and connectivity issues
Ensure adherence toincident management and escalation processes
Incident & Problem Management
Diagnose and resolve:
Network outages and performance issues
Routing firewall wireless and SDN-related incidents
Conductroot cause analysis (RCA)and support problem management activities
Work onmajor incidentsin coordination with cross-functional teams
Network Monitoring & Performance
Monitor network health usingtools and dashboards (Catalyst Center FortiAnalyzer etc.)
Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimization measures
Ensurehigh availability and uptimeof services
Configuration & Change Management
Execute network configurations and changes in line withchange management processes
Assist in deployment and validation ofnetwork upgrades and enhancements
Maintain configuration standards and documentation

Strong experience in: o Enterprise networking (L2/L3 switching & routing) o Network troubleshooting and incident resolution
Knowledge of: o SDN concepts and Cisco SD-Access o Routing protocols (BGP OSPF - preferred) o Network security and firewall technologies o Wireless networking (Aruba preferred) Platform Expertise
Hands-on experience with: o Cisco SD-Access and Catalyst Center o Cisco ISE o Fortinet stack (FortiGate FortiManager FortiAnalyzer) o Data center networking (VXLAN/EVPN exposure preferred) Additional Skills Basic scripting/automation (Python or similar - preferred)
Understanding of cloud networking concepts (AWS/Azure - preferred)
Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow) Experience Requirements
L2 Engineer: 3-5 years of experience in enterprise networking
L3 Engineer: 5-8 years of experience with advanced troubleshooting and escalation handling
