Key Tasks & responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins focusing on workflow optimization and automation.
• Develop and maintain Jenkins shared libraries and plugins using Groovy.
• Create and maintain automated scripts and tools using Python to enhance CI/CD processes.
• Integrate various testing frameworks and code quality tools into the CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues and performance pipeline health and performance implementing improvements as needed.
• Monitor daily state of CI environment
• Provide weekly status reports of CI environment
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate their projects into the CI/CD system.
• Document CI/CD workflows best practices and troubleshooting guides.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in CI/CD tooling

Minimum education requirements and experience

• Bachelor Science in Engineering Computer Science or related field with 5 years of commercial experience Master Science with 3 years of experience Expertise in DevOps Technologies & Principles (CI/CD)Experience with (Cloud Based) CI Systems like Jenkins Gitlab CI or even GitHub with (embedded) software build systems

Preferred qualifications & skills

• Experience in pipeline/workflow development (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency in container virtualization technologies (e.g. Docker or LXC).Skilled in platform-independent scripting languages (e.g. Python) for tool development and testing.
• Proficiency in platform-dependent Unix scripting languages (e.g. BASH for Linux).
• Advanced git usage for continuous integration and developer tooling with REST APIs and other service integrations.

Other recommended qualifications & skills

• Experience in Cloud Infrastructure Technologies & Tools e.g. Azure Cloud (AKS)Container orchestration Systems e.g. KubernetesJSON; XML for configuration management of the different tools & services
• Experience with Agile working model (Scrum)Software Architecture modelling expertise
• Mentoring experience in DevOps fieldsSought after soft skillsStrong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Great problem-solving and analytical and self-motivated with a continuous learning mindset

Qualifications :

• BE/ME Electronics background
