About the Role: We are looking for a self-motivated Canada IT Recruiter to join our growing recruitment team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the Canadian IT staffing industry with strong sourcing screening and relationship management skills. You will be responsible for recruiting top IT talent for contract and full-time opportunities across Canada.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for Canada-based IT requirements.
  • Source candidates through job portals LinkedIn internal databases referrals and social media platforms.
  • Screen and evaluate candidates based on technical skills communication experience and client requirements.
  • Conduct initial HR interviews and assess candidate suitability.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients.
  • Negotiate compensation and facilitate offer discussions.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified IT professionals.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in ATS/CRM systems.
  • Work closely with Account Managers and Delivery Leads to fulfill client requirements within defined timelines.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Meet individual and team recruitment targets while maintaining quality standards.
Required Skills
  • 6 months to 3 years of experience in Canada IT Recruitment.
  • Good understanding of the Canadian recruitment lifecycle.
  • Experience recruiting for Contract Contract-to-Hire and Full-Time positions.
  • Familiarity with Canadian work authorizations (Canadian Citizens Permanent Residents Open Work Permit Closed Work Permit etc.).
  • Hands-on experience using job portals such as LinkedIn Indeed Monster and other sourcing platforms.
  • Strong sourcing and Boolean search skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have a go-getter attitude.
  • Good negotiation interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced target-driven environment.
  • Basic understanding of IT technologies and technical roles.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in any discipline.
  • Experience using ATS/CRM tools is an added advantage. (ATS - Ceipal)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
