About the Role: We are looking for a self-motivated Canada IT Recruiter to join our growing recruitment team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the Canadian IT staffing industry with strong sourcing screening and relationship management skills. You will be responsible for recruiting top IT talent for contract and full-time opportunities across Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for Canada-based IT requirements.
- Source candidates through job portals LinkedIn internal databases referrals and social media platforms.
- Screen and evaluate candidates based on technical skills communication experience and client requirements.
- Conduct initial HR interviews and assess candidate suitability.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients.
- Negotiate compensation and facilitate offer discussions.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified IT professionals.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in ATS/CRM systems.
- Work closely with Account Managers and Delivery Leads to fulfill client requirements within defined timelines.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Meet individual and team recruitment targets while maintaining quality standards.
Required Skills
- 6 months to 3 years of experience in Canada IT Recruitment.
- Good understanding of the Canadian recruitment lifecycle.
- Experience recruiting for Contract Contract-to-Hire and Full-Time positions.
- Familiarity with Canadian work authorizations (Canadian Citizens Permanent Residents Open Work Permit Closed Work Permit etc.).
- Hands-on experience using job portals such as LinkedIn Indeed Monster and other sourcing platforms.
- Strong sourcing and Boolean search skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a go-getter attitude.
- Good negotiation interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced target-driven environment.
- Basic understanding of IT technologies and technical roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in any discipline.
- Experience using ATS/CRM tools is an added advantage. (ATS - Ceipal)
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
