Job Summary
The Business Operations Specialist supports HP Service Supply Chain Harvesting programs and operations in India and other APJ markets. The role is responsible for end-to-end operational coordination service partner governance performance analysis and continuous improvement. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external service partners the position helps optimize cost quality turnaround time and operational performance while ensuring compliance with agreed KPIs and governance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end program operations to deliver agreed savings targets and operational KPIs.
- Coordinate moderately complex Service Supply Chain activities including demand planning ROI analysis pricing purchase order requests delivery scheduling and operational readiness.
- Track operational performance identify gaps and coordinate corrective actions with the relevant owners.
- Support the validation and approval of partner spend in accordance with established controls and timelines.
- Govern service partner and vendor performance against agreed cost quality turnaround time and service-level targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with partners vendors internal stakeholders and management teams.
- Manage operational escalations and drive timely resolution through structured problem-solving and clear follow-up actions.
- Maintain positive and professional working relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Analyze performance data operational trends and cost impacts to support business decisions.
- Prepare monthly and ad hoc KPI reports dashboards management slides and business updates.
- Provide clear insights recommendations and action tracking based on data analysis.
- Maintain accurate and well-governed program documentation and SharePoint content.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams across India and APJ to achieve program objectives.
- Facilitate regular operational meetings document decisions and follow up on owners and due dates.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and develop practical recommendations for implementation.
- Support project and program initiatives that improve operational efficiency governance and customer outcomes.
Education & Experience Recommended
- Bachelors degree in supply chain Business Logistics Operations or a related discipline.
- Above 5 years of experience in supply chain service supply chain business operations or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in partner or vendor operations management is essential.
- Experience in program or project management is preferred; PMP certification is an advantage.
Knowledge & Skills
- Good understanding of supply chain and service supply chain processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
- Strong written verbal and presentation skills including the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional and management stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience preparing dashboards and management reports is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities work independently and perform effectively in a complex and fast-paced environment.
- Positive work attitude strong ownership and the ability to promote teamwork and collaboration.
- Knowledge of ERP systems; experience with SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.
