Description

As the Business Development Director - Sales you will play a crucial role in driving sales and business growth for Oracle India Private Limited. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and lead a team of business development representatives ensuring effective customer engagement and the successful selling of Oracle solutions. You will contribute to strategic planning oversee lead qualification processes and provide operational management to ensure a high level of performance and customer satisfaction. Additionally you will be responsible for coaching and developing your team participating in the hiring process and managing the budget to achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team of business development representatives providing guidance and support to ensure effective customer engagement and sales performance.
  • Contribute to the strategic and tactical planning of the division aligning sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Oversee lead qualification functions ensuring efficient and effective processes for identifying and qualifying sales opportunities.
  • Coach mentor and develop team members providing performance feedback and career guidance to enhance their skills and growth.
  • Participate in the recruiting process making hiring decisions to build a high-performing and diverse sales team.
  • Manage the budget and allocate resources effectively to support sales activities and achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and effective solution delivery.
  • Stay updated on industry trends market dynamics and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and ethical standards in all sales activities.
