Role Overview
Join our IT App Development team as a Business Analyst in Bangalore Karnataka India. This role is central to bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will play a key part in understanding business challenges eliciting requirements and translating them into actionable specifications for our development teams to create impactful applications. We seek a proactive individual with strong analytical and communication skills to contribute to our dynamic projects.
Responsibilities
- Elicit analyze and document business and functional requirements from various stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications user stories use cases and process flows.
- Collaborate closely with development quality assurance and project management teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes and recommend improvements.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather and validate requirements.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for business users and technical teams.
- Support the testing phase by reviewing test cases and verifying solutions against requirements.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of application solutions ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog in an Agile development environment.
Required Qualifications
- M.B.A. B.E. or . degree.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst preferably within an IT App Development or software services environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to document requirements effectively using various methodologies and tools.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g. CBAP CCBA CSPO).
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g. Jira Confluence Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with data modeling database concepts and system integration.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in managing stakeholder expectations and facilitating consensus.
