Job description

Job Summary:**

Hitachi Ltd. is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions driving strategic initiatives and optimizing operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Gather analyze and document business requirements user stories and acceptance criteria through various techniques (interviews workshops surveys).
* Translate business needs into clear concise and actionable functional and non-functional specifications for development teams.
* Conduct detailed data analysis and process modeling to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across departments including business users technical teams and project managers to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
* Develop and execute test plans coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
* Assist in the creation of project plans timelines and resource allocation.
* Support the implementation and deployment of new systems and processes including training and post-implementation support.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions recommending further enhancements.
* Stay updated on industry best practices emerging technologies and business analysis methodologies.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst preferably within a large multinational corporation.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and processes.
* Excellent communication (written and verbal) interpersonal and presentation skills.
* Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g. UML BPMN user stories use cases).
* Experience with various software development life cycles (SDLC) methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall).
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
* Experience with data visualization tools and reporting is a plus.
* Familiarity with Hitachis business domains (e.g. IT energy industry mobility) is advantageous.
