Key Responsibilities
- Implement configure and administer BMC Helix HAM and SAM modules.
- Manage the complete lifecycle of hardware and software assets from procurement to retirement.
- Configure and maintain asset classes product catalogs software license models and asset relationships.
- Integrate BMC Helix with CMDB Discovery procurement and other enterprise systems.
- Monitor software license usage ensure compliance and optimize software asset utilization.
- Perform data reconciliation asset audits and maintain asset accuracy.
- Develop reports dashboards and KPIs related to asset management and compliance.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide L2/L3 support for HAM/SAM environments.
- Collaborate with IT operations procurement security and infrastructure teams to improve ITAM processes.
- Create technical documentation SOPs and knowledge base articles.
Required Skills
- 5 years of hands-on experience with BMC Helix HAM/SAM or BMC Remedy Asset Management.
- Strong knowledge of Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) processes.
- Experience with BMC CMDB BMC Discovery and ITSM integrations.
- Understanding of software licensing models software compliance and asset lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and IT Asset Management best practices.
- Experience with REST APIs data imports and system integrations is an advantage.
- Strong analytical troubleshooting and communication skills.
