Job Summary
Job Summary:
The BIM Mechanical Intern will assist the BIM and Mechanical team in developing and maintaining 3D models for mechanical systems. The role provides hands-on training in BIM workflows Revit modeling and basic coordination activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and modifying Revit models for HVAC and Plumbing systems
- Support preparation of basic drawings layouts and schedules
- Help in clash detection and coordination under guidance
- Follow project BIM standards and documentation procedures
- Update models based on review comments and revisions
Requirements
Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering student or recent graduate
- Basic knowledge of Revit / AutoCAD or strong interest in BIM
- Good learning attitude and teamwork skills
Required Skills:
Key Responsibilities Assist in creating and modifying electrical BIM models using Revit Prepare basic electrical layouts drawings and documentation Support clash detection and coordination with other disciplines Update BIM models as per design changes and project requirements Follow BIM standards naming conventions and project guidelines
Required Education:
RequirementsPursuing or completed Diploma / B.E. / in Electrical EngineeringBasic knowledge of Revit (Electrical) and electrical building systemsUnderstanding of electrical layouts (lighting power etc.) is a plusWillingness to learn BIM processes and industry workflowsGood communication and teamwork skills
