Backend Engineer

We are seeking a Backend Engineer to join our team. The role involves designing and developing enterprise-scale backend applications using Core C# and Microsoft Azure while leading architecture discussions and technical mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Core and C#.

• Architect cloud-native Microservices and Distributed Systems on Microsoft Azure.

• Design secure high-performance REST APIs and event-driven applications.

• Lead architecture discussions code reviews and technical mentoring.

• Design and implement messaging solutions using Azure Service Bus.

• Troubleshoot production issues perform RCA and optimize application performance.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD AKS deployments and cloud infrastructure.

• Establish engineering standards best practices and architectural guidelines.

• Review AI-generated code and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

Required qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience backend development.

• Expertise in Core C# and microservices architecture.

• Experience designing cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.

• Strong knowledge of distributed systems performance optimization and system design.

• Proven technical leadership and mentoring experience.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and container orchestration (AKS).

Nice to have

• Advanced understanding of event-driven architecture and Azure Service Bus.

• Experience with Terraform Bicep and Azure infrastructure-as-code.

• Knowledge of DDD CQRS and clean architecture principles.

• Soft skills: problem solving stakeholder management and agile delivery.
