Back Office Operations Senior Associate

Point72s Operations team supports all operational aspects of trade processing reconciliation financing and reporting firmwide for all products including equities derivatives bonds foreign exchange and futures and digital assets across global markets.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Perform daily cash and P&L reconciliations collaborating with global teams to resolve breaks efficiently.
• Complete assigned daily tasks and reviews strictly within established servicelevel agreements.
• Lead workload allocation and foster talent development across the team.
• Partner with prime brokers custodians administrators and external third parties to expedite break resolution.
• Act as a senior team member to resolve complex tasks directly with counterparties and internal stakeholders.
• Identify prioritize and implement straight-through-processing (STP) initiatives to enhance scalability accuracy and control.
• Deliver fast insightful answers to P&L inquiries from portfolio managers traders and investment colleagues.

WHATS REQUIRED

• Bachelors degree in finance Business Mathematics or a related field (preferred)
• 6 years of Operations experience within a hedge fund asset manager bank or fund administrator including demonstrated leadership and ownership of complex operational functions.
• Strong product knowledge across equities futures equity swaps FX derivatives and fixed income instruments.
• Advanced technical aptitude with the ability to partner effectively with Technology and drive system and process improvements.
• Exceptional problem-solving analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to operate with urgency and sound judgment.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills in a high-volume deadline-driven environment.
• Highly detail-oriented proactive and self-directed with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and the MS Office Suite.
