Azure PIM

About The Job:

• The role focuses on Azure Privileged Identity Management (PIM) Identity Governance Hybrid Identity Security and Privileged Access Management across enterprise cloud and hybrid environments.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing administering governing and securing privileged access while supporting compliance audit automation and cloud security initiatives.

Essential Job Functions:
Azure PIM Administration & Engineering

• Design implement and manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
• Configure and administer privileged access for Azure Microsoft 365 and enterprise applications.
• Manage Just-in-Time (JIT) privileged access and Azure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Configure role activation policies approvals MFA requirements notifications and privileged access workflows.

Identity Governance & Compliance

• Perform periodic access reviews and privileged account certifications.
• Govern privileged access through least-privilege and Zero Trust principles.
• Support internal and external audits by providing privileged access evidence and compliance reporting.
• Identify and remediate excessive orphaned or non-compliant privileged accounts.

Hybrid Identity & Security Management

• Support Microsoft Entra ID Active Directory and hybrid identity environments.
• Work with infrastructure cloud and security teams to implement secure privileged access controls.
• Integrate Azure PIM controls with Conditional Access policies and identity security controls.
• Ensure secure administrative access across cloud and on-premises environments.

Automation & Operational Excellence

• Develop PowerShell scripts and automation solutions for access provisioning reporting and governance activities.
• Create operational runbooks and standard operating procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within Identity and Access Management services.
• Support incident problem and change management activities related to privileged access management.

Stakeholder & Project Collaboration

• Collaborate with Cyber Security Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Compliance Audit and Governance teams.
• Partner with business stakeholders and third-party suppliers to implement secure identity solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on privileged access management best practices.
• Participate in identity remediation cloud transformation and security enhancement initiatives.

Core Technical Skills Required

• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Azure Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
• Azure RBAC.
• Conditional Access.
• Identity Governance & Access Reviews.
• Active Directory & Hybrid Identity.
• Azure AD Connect / Entra Connect.
• PowerShell Automation.
• MFA & Zero Trust Security.
• OAuth SAML OpenID Connect LDAP Kerberos.

Preferred Skills

• CyberArk / BeyondTrust / Delinea.
• SailPoint or Saviynt.
• Microsoft Defender for Identity.
• Microsoft Sentinel.
• Terraform / Bicep / ARM Templates.
• Azure Security & Cloud Governance.

Experience Requirements

• 810 years of overall experience in Identity & Access Management or Cloud Security.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Azure PIM and Entra ID administration.
• Experience working in large enterprise or global environments.
• Strong understanding of privileged access governance compliance and audit requirements.
