AWS GenAI Platform Engineer (Cloud Engineer with AWS + AI)

Cloud Engineer AWS and AI Key Responsibilities Cloud Architecture AWS Design and manage scalable secure and reliable applications using AWS services such as compute storage networking and serverless Build reusable architecture patterns and infrastructure modules DevOps and Automation Create CI CD pipelines automate deployments and manage infrastructure using tools like Terraform CDK or CloudFormation Support smooth environment setup across development and production Monitoring and Reliability Implement logging monitoring and alerts using CloudWatch Handle incidents perform root cause analysis and improve system reliability and performance Security and Compliance Apply best practices like IAM roles encryption with KMS and secrets management Ensure systems meet compliance standards such as SOC2 and ISO 27001 through automated controls Cost Optimization Track and reduce cloud costs using tagging budgeting and right sizing resources Recommend cost efficient architecture solutions Data and Integration Build data pipelines and integrations using services like Lambda Glue Step Functions and API Gateway to support applications and AI workloads AI and GenAI Bedrock Develop AI solutions using Amazon Bedrock including prompt design retrieval augmented generation RAG and model integration Agentic AI Systems Build intelligent workflows using tools like LangChain and Bedrock Agents enabling automation decision making and tool integration MLOps for AI Models Manage versioning testing and deployment of AI models and prompts Run experiments AB tests and ensure safe rollouts Collaboration Work closely with product data and security teams Document solutions and share knowledge across teams Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Five plus years in cloud or DevOps including three plus years with AWS Strong AWS skills including IAM VPC EC2 EKS Lambda API Gateway S3 databases and CloudWatch Experience with DevOps tools such as Terraform CI CD Docker and Kubernetes Good understanding of security networking and encryption Hands on experience with AI LLMs Bedrock prompt engineering and RAG pipelines Knowledge of MLOps tools such as MLflow and SageMaker and deployment practices Strong communication teamwork and ownership mindset
