Summarized Purpose:
We are offering an outstanding opportunity to join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Sr Engineer Software Quality this role you will drive automation testing initiatives lead a team of engineers and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality software products aligned with organizational standards.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent.
- 810 years of testing experience with strong automation background.
- Additional relevant certifications in software testing or quality assurance (preferred)
Major Job Responsibilities:
- Define automation roadmap and strategy .
- Lead design and scalability of automation frameworks .
- Oversee CI/CD integration and quality gates.
- Mentor and guide automation engineers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous quality improvements.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced proficiency in system testing methodologies and test documentation creation.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing processes.
- Advanced knowledge of test planning execution error reporting and verification procedures.
- Strong expertise in automation frameworks and tools.
- Programming skills (Python/Java/JavaScript).
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in deadline-driven environments.
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies and software platforms.
Must Have Skills:
- Automation leadership experience
- Strong programming and framework design
- CI/CD and DevOps practices
- API and microservices testing
Good to Have Skills:
- Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- AI/ML testing exposure
- Performance and security testing
Working Hours:
- India: 05:30 PM to 02:30 AM IST
- Philippines: 08:00 PM to 05:00 AM PHT
