Job Title: Automation SQL Engineer (Backend Testing)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automation SQL Engineer with strong expertise in SQL backend testing and data validation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in database testing automation and validating backend systems using SQL and scripting languages in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform backend and database testing using SQL queries.

• Write and execute complex SQL queries involving multiple joins for data validation.

• Automate backend testing activities using Groovy or Java/Python/JavaScript.

• Validate data across multiple systems and servers.

• Test file-based integrations by uploading files to servers and verifying processed data.

• Work with WinSCP PuTTY and ReadyAPI for backend testing and automation.

• Create and execute test cases analyze defects and collaborate with development teams.

• Perform functional testing in Agile/Scrum projects.

• Use Excel for data validation reconciliation and reporting.

Required Skills

• 7-12 years of experience in Automation Testing and SQL.

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL (complex queries joins data validation).

• Experience with Groovy scripting or Java/Python/JavaScript.

• Hands-on experience with WinSCP PuTTY and ReadyAPI.

• Strong knowledge of backend/database testing.

• Experience in data validation and automation.

• Good knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP formulas data analysis).

• Strong understanding of Functional Testing and Agile methodologies.

Good to Have

• BFSI domain experience.

• Knowledge of remote machines and remote server access.

• Experience with file-based integrations and batch processing.
