Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and modify 2D engineering drawings manufacturing drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
- Develop and update 3D models assemblies and detailed drawings using CAD software.
- Exposure to Creo / NX / SolidWorks will be an advantage.
- Convert 3D models into manufacturing-ready 2D drawings with proper dimensions tolerances and specifications.
- Prepare and maintain BOM drawing documentation and engineering records.
- Support new product development design changes and engineering modifications.
- Review drawings for dimensional accuracy GD&T manufacturability and design standards.
- Coordinate with Production Quality Tool Room Process Engineering and NPD teams for design feasibility.
- Support preparation of drawings for automotive components tooling fixtures and manufacturing equipment.
- Incorporate customer requirements and engineering changes into drawings.
- Participate in design reviews root-cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain drawing revisions and ensure proper documentation control.
- Support prototype development and manufacturing trials.
