Associate Histopathology
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Receive trim and process tissue samples from study animals.
- Perform tissue embedding microtomy (sectioning) and slide preparation.
- Conduct routine and special staining procedures (e.g. H&E staining).
- Maintain histology equipment such as tissue processors microtomes and staining instruments.
- Ensure high-quality tissue sections for microscopic evaluation.
- Archive slides blocks and study records according to GLP requirements.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.
- Support toxicologic pathologists with slide management and documentation.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of tissue processing and histological techniques.
- Experience with microtomy embedding and staining procedures.
- Understanding of anatomy pathology and toxicology.
- Familiarity with GLP and regulatory requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to handle laboratory equipment and maintain records.
Typical Qualifications
- ./. in Life Sciences Zoology Biotechnology Microbiology Pathology or related disciplines.
- Experience in histopathology pathology laboratories or toxicology studies is preferred.
