Associate Histopathology

Key Responsibilities

• Receive trim and process tissue samples from study animals.
• Perform tissue embedding microtomy (sectioning) and slide preparation.
• Conduct routine and special staining procedures (e.g. H&E staining).
• Maintain histology equipment such as tissue processors microtomes and staining instruments.
• Ensure high-quality tissue sections for microscopic evaluation.
• Archive slides blocks and study records according to GLP requirements.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.
• Support toxicologic pathologists with slide management and documentation.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of tissue processing and histological techniques.
• Experience with microtomy embedding and staining procedures.
• Understanding of anatomy pathology and toxicology.
• Familiarity with GLP and regulatory requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to handle laboratory equipment and maintain records.

Typical Qualifications

• ./. in Life Sciences Zoology Biotechnology Microbiology Pathology or related disciplines.
• Experience in histopathology pathology laboratories or toxicology studies is preferred.
